Battlestar Galactica Mini-Series Part 3b

New Scene:
Back on the Battlestar Galactica, we see the ship traveling toward the munitions depot, through the cloud of gas, which seems to be emitting an immense electric charge. The camera switches to the command center and Colonel Tigh reports, "Five seconds to turn three." There is a short pause, then the Colonel says, "and turn!" Then Gaeta continues with navigation orders, "Bow pitch positive one-half .... stern pitch negative one-quarter .... Bow-yaw, negative three-quarters."

The scene switches to Starbuck's quarters, where she is hanging up her flight jacket and notices a picture of Apollo, her late fiance, zak, and herself standing together. She takes the picture down and you can see tears running down her face.

The scene switches to cargo bay 8, which has been turned into a morgue. An officer is walking through a sea of bodies, holding a large number of dog tags in his hand. Then the scene switches back to the command center, where Dee reports, "Crossing into the ionosphere." The commander walks forward and picks up the COM and gives an order, "All hands, be ready for some chop." The camera switches to outside the ship, which seems to be in a very bad electrical storm and is being hit by bolts of lightening.

The scene switches back to Starbuck's quarters, where we see her holding the picture up and praying, "Lords of Kobol, hear my prayer ... take the souls of your sons and daughters this day, especially that of Lee Adama ... into your hands.

The scene switches back outside, where we see the ship navigating through the storm, towards the munitions depot, and finally docking. The commander radios to the chief, "Go find me some bullets, chief." He replies, "Copy that, sir." They open the airlock and the chief yells, "Alright, get your gear ... move out!"

The scene switches to the crew opening the large double doors into the munitions reserve and the entire room is very dark. The crew searches around with flashlights and the chief orders, "Alright people, let's be quick about this ... Cally find the generator and get some lights on in here." Cally replies, "Yes, Chief." The chief continues issuing orders, "Let's find out where the lift is and get it fired up." The chief continues to move through the room and when he comes to a dark corner, a weapon is raised and pointed right at him.

New Scene:
Back on the Colonial One, Boomer's Raptor lands and the people are disembarking onto the President's ship. Boomer walks up to Apollo and reports, "Captain? I've got two communication pods left, that's it ... no jiggers, no drones, no markers, nothing." Apollo replies, "Well, at least, you still got your electronics suite ... that old crate of mine, can barely navigate from A to B." Boomer replies, "That old crate, may have saved your life, sir." Apollo asks, "How's that?" Boomer replies, "The Viper Mark VII's? The Cylon's shut them down, like they threw a switch or something. I have been hearing reports like that from all over. The only fighters that are having any success at all, are either old or in need of a major overhaul." Apollo then notices Dr. Baltar getting off of Boomer's ship and asks, "Is that him?" Boomer replies, "Yeah." She then turns toward where the doctor is disembarking and angrily yells, "I hope he's worth it!" She turns back to Apollo and says, "Sorry, sir." Apollo tells her, "Don't be, I hope he's worth it, too." Apollo turns to the doctor as he is about to pass by and introduces himself, "Dr. Baltar, Captain Lee Adama. The President has asked to see you, sir." Dr. Baltar in surprise asks, "President Adar, is alive?" Apollo answers, "No, I am afraid Adar is dead. President Laura Roslin was sworn in, a couple of hours ago." Dr. Baltar, with a disappointing voice replies, "Oh." Apollo then tells him, "If you will come with me, she is this way."

The scene fast forwards to see Dr. Baltar and Apollo reaching the room where the President is located. The president turns to greet the doctor and says, "Dr. Baltar, it's a pleasure to meet you, we met at last year's Caprica City Symposium." The doctor doesn't remember her. After pleasantries are exchanged, the president asks the doctor to serve as her chief scientific consultant regarding the Cylons and their technology. He agrees to help. The president then turns to Boomer and says, "Lieutenant Valerii?" Boomer replies, "Yes." to which the president continues, "I understand that your ship has limited faster than light capability?" Boomer replies, "Uh, yes sir. The Raptor was designed to make short jumps ahead of the fleet, scout for enemy ships, then jump back and report." The president then says, "I want you to go out there and find as many survivors as you can and bring them back to this position. We will then form a convoy. We will guide them out of the combat zone and into safety." Boomer replies, "Yes, sir."

New Scene:
Back on the Ragnar Anchorage, the chief yells, "Everybody hold fast!" The stranger that is holding the weapon on the chief says, "I don't want any trouble." The chief replies, "Ok, let's talk." The stranger demands that he is not going to jail, the chief replies, "What?" The stranger repeats his demands and the chief yells, "Nobody is taking you to jail, just calm down! .... We're not the police, we're not here to arrest you, now put your gun down!" The stranger replies, "Yeah, maybe, so who the hell are ya?" The chief replies, "We're from colonial fleet, we came to get some equipment from the station ... to get back in the fight." The stranger replies, "What fight?" The chief seems more calm and replies, "You don't know?" The stranger replies, "Know what?" The chief replies, "There's a war on, give me your weapon." The stranger doesn't believe him and starts yelling and making demands for passage off the station and then the chief replies, "Look, I don't have time to argue with you, so here's the deal ... we've got over two thousand people on that ship, now if you think you can shoot everyone, fine! If not? Get the hell out of my way!" After hearing the number of people he is against, the stranger lowers his weapon and decides to cooperate. The chief yells, "Get his weapon" then with a lower voice says, "If he moves? Shoot him."

New Scene:
Back aboard the Colonial One, we see Dr. Baltar sitting in a room working on something, when he starts hallucinating again. Number six says, "I see they put you to work." Startled, the doctor looks up to see the beautiful Cylon that he was involved with back on Caprica. He looks back down at his work and then Number Six speaks again, "Ignoring me, won't help." The doctor tries to rationalize it as a trick his subconscious mind is playing on him. There is more psychological discussion going on between him and Number Six and then she suggests that it's possible that she exists in his head without being an hallucination, because while he was sleeping she implanted a chip that transmits her image right into his conscious mind. The doctor then rationalizes further saying, "No, No, that's me again. My subconscious self is expressing rational fears, which I choose to ignore."
