New Scene:
On Board the Colonial one, we see the president talking to Lee, "Thank you for coming, Captain Apollo. I am aware, that you were in charge of the mission that destroyed the Olympic Carrier. I know what a hard thing that is, to live with ...For all of us. I'm struggling with it myself, frankly." Apollo replies with, "I can't stop thinking about it ...But a man has to accept responsibility for his actions. He doesn't second guess the choices he makes. He lives with it ...every day.", quoting some of the advice his father gave him, earlier. The president replies with, "Ya know? I remember when President Adar, sent the marines into Airlon ...15 people died ...in public , of course. He had to say all the usual things, he was sure of what he done, he made the right choice, stayed the course, but he knew it was a mistake ...and he kept the names of the dead, in his desk drawer. He said that it was imperative, for a leader to remember and learn from the mistakes, even if they can't admit to them publicly."

Apollo is greatly concerned with her reply, "Do you think we made a mistake?" The president replies with, "No ...", she pauses for a moment, then continues, "I don't have a desk drawer, yet but, I have a pocket.", as she pulls a note from her pocket, that shows the Olympic Carrier written on it. Apollo nods, with approval and the president continues with, "I don't want to add to your burden, however, I have a request. I would like you to be my personal military advisor.", to which Apollo replies, "I'm sorry, my father is the senior military officer ...he should advise you." The president tries to convey the misunderstanding with, "No, no. I don't mean to go behind your fathers back. Nothing like that. I'm not looking for military advice, I'm looking for advice about the military. That little incident about your father making a gesture ...It really helped me. It made me reassess, the man. I would appreciate, more of those insights ..and you can keep your day job at the C-A-G." Apollo replies with, "It's pronounced KAG" The president replies with, "Do you see, why I need you?", to which Apollo smiles and nods in agreement, then asks, "So? Who's going to tell my father?" The president responds with, "Well ...hmmm ...I was thinking that ...that would be your first assignment." They both have a giggle and Apollo replies with, "Some how, I knew you were going to say that." They shake hands and the president ends with, "Thank you, captain."

Final Scene:
Back on the Battlestar Galactica, we see Chief Tyrol enter a private room, where Boomer is waiting. Immediately, they hold each other in a loving embrace, while kissing, then Boomer says, "That was just what I needed." and the chief replies with, "Oh, yeah." She then asks, "Did you find the detonator?", to which the chief replies, "Yes, I did. I gave it to the Master at Arms." Boomer is shocked with his reply and says, "What!?" You can see, that Boomer is overwhelmed with the feeling that she is going to be caught, so the chief tries to calm her by saying, "Hey? No, no. I told her, that I found it during maintenance. Listen, calm down. This is the best way to go about this. Ok? Look ...That puts them on the same trail that we're on and doesn't raise any suspicion of you." The chief realizes that Boomer is, still very upset, so he continues, "Listen ...hey, hey, hey ...Trust me on this, Sharon. I'm not going to let anything happen to you. Ok?" Boomer seems a little more assured, and nods in agreement, then says, "Ok." Feeling much safer, after the chief's words, she hugs him in gratitude and the chief says, "Don't worry, sweetie." The embrace is broken up, when Boomer realizes she has to report in, "Well, I gotta go.", to which the chief replies, "Ok." As Boomer is seen walking toward the CIC, to report for debriefing, the episode ends.
