Battlestar Galactica Season One, Episode "Act of Contrition", Page 1
A fatal accident takes the lives of 13 pilots, which requires the training of new recruits for the Viper Squadron. Starbuck is ordered to be the flight instructor for a bunch of new nuggets, that have already failed flight training and in many cases, more than once. Afraid of being responsible for anyone elses death, Starbuck is overly harsh with her new recruits and fails them all, on the first day. It is later discovered that a similar event haunts her past, which is the reason she has been so unreasonable, but she must work it out, before the Cylons catch them with their pants down (ie., Not enough Viper Pilots to defend the fleet against an attack).
Meanwhile, the Sergeant at Arms continues the investigation of the missing detonator and bombing attack, while the president visits the Galactica's doctor for a second opinion, with regard to her health.
