Battlestar Galactica Season One, Episode "You Can't Go Home Again", Page 1
During training exercises, Starbuck crash lands on an uninhabitable moon, after saving the nuggets from an unexpected Cylon attack. Commander Adama feels personally responsible and refuses to call of the search, as he spares no cost in the rescue attempt. Many of the crew are irritated by the admiral's relentless effort, which consumes a great deal of the fleet's resources and puts the entire human race at risk, all for a single pilot. President Roslin questions the commander's unreasonable actions, by suggesting that Starbuck's oxygen has probably ran out, many hours ago. With the revelation of this undeniable logic, they decide to call off the search, as the Cylon fleet bares down on them.
