Commander Fisk is murdered and Apollo is appointed the chief investigator.
As Apollo investigates the murder, he discovers clues that bring to light Commander Fisk's involvement in the Black Market. Those clues implicate a number of other military and civilian authorities, as well.
When Apollo's prostitute girlfriend is kidnapped, he intensifies his search, which leads him to the freighter ship, Prometheus. Once aboard, he finds the leader of the Black Market operation, namely Phelan, who is a ruthless criminal and murderer, holding his girlfriend hostage.
