Battlestar Galactica Season Two, Episode "Fragged", Page 1
Now that the Battlestar Galactica has rejoined the fleet, Dr. Cottle attempts to save Commander Adama's life. Meanwhile, Colonel Tigh has the revelation that there is a great deal more to being a leader, than just throwing out orders, as he continues to battle with the press. The stress of being in command, has taken it's toll and the colonel finds himself turning to the bottle, once again.
The Quorum of Twelve demand to see the president, but Colonel Tigh refuses. He has a change of heart, once his wife reveals that the president is in an unstable frame of mind and that fact might actually damage her credibility. Meanwhile, someone sneaks some medicine to the president, which alleviates the symptoms of mental instability and the Quorum finds her in perfect health. She convinces the Quorum that she is the leader prophesied in the scrolls and that she is the one, who will lead them to Earth.
Meanwhile, Apollo organizes a team to attempt a rescue of the stranded crew, down on Kobol. Unfortunately, he is unaware that the Cylons are expecting him and have constructed anti-aircraft missile launchers ready to shoot down any approaching vessel.
Down on Kobol, Chief Tyrol is fearful that Crashdown lacks the command ability required to lead a group of non-combatant personnel on a mission to destroy the missile launchers and defeat the superior Cylon forces guarding it.
Dr. Baltar is haunted by Number Six's warning, that someone will betray the others on Kobol.
