Battlestar Galactica Season 3, Episode "The Eye of Jupiter", Page 1
The Battlestar Galactica's crew helps the civilians collect algae down on the planet, while Apollo and Starbuck experiment with an illicit affair.
Meanwhile, down on the algae planet, Chief Tyrol is compelled to explore a strange rock formation off in the distance and discovers the ancient "Temple of Five". It is rumored that a strange artifact called, "The Eye of Jupiter", is somewhere in the temple and it somehow possesses the ability to show them the path to Earth.
Suddenly, four Cylon baseships jump into the system, but strangely enough, they don't want a fight. D' Anna Biers and Dr. Baltar wish to retrieve "The Eye of Jupiter" for themselves, because they are driven to find out who the final 5 humanoid Cylon models are. During negotiations between the human and Cylon leaders, another copy of Boomer tells Athena that Hera is alive, which only means that President Roslin lied about the child's mysterious death.
As negotiations fall apart, Admiral Adama threatens to Nuke the planet, so that no one can have "The Eye of Jupiter" if the Cylons do not back off. However, D' Anna and a small army of Centurions have already landed on the planet, but Apollo is on to them, as he organizes the Battlestar Galactica's crew and a few civilians to defend the temple or destroy it, if they cannot hold their ground.
Meanwhile, Starbuck has discovered the Cylon Centurions headed toward the temple and signals Apollo of the impending attack, but before she finishes the message she is shot down. Her husband, Anders, desperately wants to go save her, but the mission to defend the temple is too great. Suddenly, the defenders are stormed by Cylon ground troupes in an attack from every direction.
Back onboard the Battlestar Galactica, Gaeta discovers that the sun is about to go supernova, which would annihilate the entire solar system and everything in it.
