With Dr. Baltar's advice, she looks up at Colonel Tigh and says, "I know a lot of things. You want to know one thing, I know? I know about your loss. Hurts doesn't it? You wonder how you can even survive it." Colonel Tigh replies, "I don't know what you're talking about ...but, it's not going to work." Then, Dr. Baltar tells her, "She was his world. Of course, he only realized when she was gone." Caprica Six asks the colonel, "Did she know? ...Did she know? ...Did she know, how much she meant to you? Or did you wait to tell her, after she was gone?" Colonel Tigh is confused and shocked with his reply, "What?" Caprica Six continues to taunt the colonel with, "But, you made her think that she was a burden. A stone around your neck ..." Caprica Six gets right up in Colonel Tigh's face and continues, "but then you humans always destroy the ones who love you, don't you?", but before she finishes the sentence, Colonel Tigh knocks her silly with a back hand. Caprica Six turns back around and stares Colonel Tigh right in the face and socks him back, then the two guards pull their weapons and the camera pans over to show Caprica Six smiling with satisfaction. Colonel Tigh is furious, when he orders the guards, "Shackle this thing!" and he leaves the jail cell.

Crossroads Part 1 Recap: Scene 11

Still onboard the Battlestar Galactica, at Dr. Baltar's trial, Colonel Tigh is day dreaming about his wife, while on the witness stand and the prosecutor tries to get his attention with, "Colonel Tigh?" He comes out of it and asks, "Excuse me, what was the question, again?" The prosecutor repeats her question, "As the leader of the insurgency, did you ever hear of an instance, in which Baltar stood up to the Cylons or tried to disrupt their plans?" Colonel Tigh is immediate with his reply, "No! No, never. He never lifted a Fracken finger to help us. Ellen did more. At least, she was trying to help." The camera pans over to Dr. Baltar, who whispers to his lawyer, "My gods, he's drunk." Lampkin turns to him with a simple reply, "Yes." The prosecutor looks at him and says, "Yes, Ellen. You're wife." to try to encourage him. She turns to the judges table and says, "Another victim of Baltar's Cylon allies." Colonel Tigh agrees with, "Yeah, that's right." The prosecutor thanks Colonel Tigh and turns to go back to her desk, before saying, "Your witness."

Before Lampkin gets up to question Colonel Tigh, he leans over and asks Dr. Baltar, "What happened to the colonel's wife?" Dr. Baltar replies, "She used to work for one of the Cylon administrators." Lampkin is surprised by this and asks for clarification, "She worked for them?", then turns to Apollo and asks, "Do you know what happened to her?" and he replies, "No. No idea. I have reason to believe she died during the Exodus of New Caprica."

Lampkin rises to his feet, clears his throat, then walks toward Colonel Tigh and begins with the question, "Colonel? You dislike Gaius Baltar, because you consider him to be a traitor, is that correct?" Colonel Tigh affirms this by saying, "And a coward and a mass murderer." Lampkin continues, "The suicide bombing ...of the police graduation ...Gaius Baltar was the intended target, was he not?" Colonel Tigh replies, "And if he had the guts to show up on that day, like he was supposed to, you and I wouldn't be having this conversation, right now." Lampkin continues his questioning, "So, you ordered the killing of ...what was it? Thirty-three other men and women, just for the chance to kill Gaius Baltar?" Colonel Tigh grudgingly replies, "They were all traitors ...anyone, who put on that uniform. But, yes. HE WAS the Target." Lampkin continues his questioning, "What happened to your wife?" The prosecutor objects to the question, "Exception. Relevance?" and Lampkin explains, "The door was opened on direct, your honor." Immediately, Admiral Adama, who is one of the tribunal judges, says, "I fail to see the point of pursuing the subject.", but one of the other tribunal judges interrupts him with, "He's right, admiral. If it was brought up, during direct examination, then it can be pursued in the cross." She looks at the prosecutor and says, "Overruled.", then tells Lampkin, "Continue."

With approval of one of the tribunal judges, Lampkin repeats the question, "What happened to your wife, colonel?" Colonel Tigh is furious with Lampkin and says, "You Fracken, son of a bitch." Lampkin interrupts with the question, "Isn't it true? That she collaborated, openly, with the Cylons. That she, actually, worked for them?" Colonel Tigh, is appalled with the questions about his beloved late wife, but replies, "She was faking it. Making them think, that she was working for them." Lampkin replies, "Ahh, I see. And Baltar, he wasn't faking it, no." Colonel Tigh replies, "That's right" Lampkin continues to press the issue, "And you blame him, for her death. Have you been drinking today, colonel?" Colonel Tigh's honor prevents him from lying, so he says, "I had a drink. I haven't been drinking.", meaning that he hasn't drank very much. Lampkin continues to push the colonel on the issue, "You used to like to drink with Ellen, I imagine." Suddenly, Colonel Tigh starts to hear some music coming from somewhere on the ship and turns to the tribunal and says, "Do you hear that? They're playing music in here, now." Everyone seems confused at the colonel's words, then Lampkin continues, "Gaius Baltar, didn't order the death of your wife. Colonel, that was somebody else. Who was it, colonel? Who killed Ellen?" The camera pans over to Colonel Tigh, then to Admiral Adama, and then to President Roslin, who are all worried where this line of questioning will lead. Lampkin repeats his question, "Come on, colonel. We're waiting. Tell us. Who was it? Who killed Ellen?" Colonel Tigh realizes, that he has to answer the question and with guilt and remorse he says, "I did. ...I did." He looks over to Admiral Adama and repeats, "I did." He turns back to Lampkin and says, "She was giving information to the Cylons. A lot of good men died. She was my wife, it was MY responsibility. She did it for me. That's what she said. To save me from going back to prison, so they could tear more pieces off me. So, I killed her. All, because of that thing, over there. All because Gaius Fracking Baltar, didn't have the guts to stand up to the Cylons. Because, he handed our fate over to the Cylons ...I had to kill, my Ellen." Lampkin pushes further, "So, Gaius Baltar, made you kill your wife? That's why you hate him and that's why you would say anything to see him die." Colonel Tigh acknowledges that fact by saying, "You're gods damn right, I would ... I would do anything ...SAY ANYTHING! To see that man die, a painful death." Lampkin looks pleased and says, "No further questions." Just then, Colonel Tigh hears the music again and yells, "Would someone turn off that MUSIC!!!"

Crossroads Part 1 Recap: Scene 12

Still onboard the Battlestar Galactica, Anders continues to play a game of Pyramids with Seelix and when she misses a shot, Anders asks, "Are you hearing anything I am saying?" and she breaks out in drunken laughter.

Just then, we see the president's aide walk up to the bartender and he asks, "What can I get ya?" and she replies, "I don't know, what I want. You figure it out, you're the bartender." The bartender smiles and says, "Ok, tell ya what. I'll surprise ya." Suddenly a loud bang is heard and Anders yells, "Yes! Finally!" Seelix reaches out to hug him in celebration for making the shot, then goes back to practice. Meanwhile, Anders looks over to the bar and sees the president's aide and curiously, she is looking right back at him. Seelix makes another shot and Anders looks back at her and says, "One more time." and she says, "Yep."
