The camera pans over to show Chief Tyrol, who is also humming the tune, then back to show Anders is looking in the chief's direction, with a startled expression on his face. The camera pans back over to Racetrack's lecture, as she continues, "and that means getting your hands dirty." She turns to one of the nuggets and says, "Move.", then hurries them all to board the Raptor for a training exercise, "Come on. Come on, come on." However, Anders is too preoccupied to board the Raptor, as he walks over to the chief to question him about the song he is humming. The chief looks up and says, "Hi Sam." and continues to hum the tune. Anders looks bewildered, when he asks, "That song your humming. What is that?" Chief Tyrol replies, "Oh, uhh ...ya know what? I don't even know. It's just something that I can't get out of my head.", then Anders tells him, "I have been hearing that." The chief looks up in surprise, before Anders continues, "Everywhere, uhh ..the boom box in the bar ..." Chief Tyrol looks around to see who is listening, then signal's Anders to follow him to a more secluded area, before saying, "You hear ...THAT song?" and Anders whispers in excitement, "Yeah! And it's freaking me out. I hear it everywhere ...I mean I can't ...I can't really hear it. You know what I mean?" Chief Tyrol is relieved that someone else hears it and says, "Yeah, it's like you can just grab part of the melody and then it goes away, like it's from child ..." and Anders finishes his sentence, "Childhood ...Exactly", as he nods in agreement. Suddenly, Racetrack yells, "Yo! Anders!? Do you need a Fracking invitation!? Move it!!!" Anders replies under his breath, "Alright. No reason to get excited", as he walks over to board the Raptor.

Crossroads Part 2 Recap: Scene 6

Still onboard the Battlestar Galactica, President Roslin is being seen by Dr. Cottle in the sickbay, when he says, "Well, congratulations. You've survived your first Phaloxin treatment." The president gags from the taste, then says, "Talk about the cure being worse than the disease.", as she lays back down to get comfortable. Dr. Cottle empathizes with her, then makes a suggestion, "Well, next time bring a book or some paper work that will help keep your mind off of it and it will also help keep your blood pressure down." The president laughs and says, "Yeah, right.", then the doctor says, "If you'll excuse me, I have some other patients." The president replies with, "Alright, go.", as she waves him off.

As the president gets comfortable on the bed, she starts to hallucinate, again. This time, when Number Six carries Hera into the blinding light, she is horrified to see Dr. Baltar waiting to greet them and wakes up screaming. Strangely, in the next bed over, Athena wakes up screaming too, while holding her baby in her arms. Dr. Cottle yells, "What's going on!? You're both freaking out at the same time!?" The president looks at Athena with urgency, then turns to the doctor and says, "We need a moment. Take this off, get this off me, please." referring to the Intravenous (I-V) equipment that is attached to her arm. Dr. Cottle is confused by the the event and asks, "Will someone, please, tell me what the hell is going on?"

Still onboard the Battlestar Galactica, President Roslin and Athena decide to question Caprica Six about the event. When they arrive at the prison cell, the president turns to the guards and gives the order, "Go outside. Thank you, we'll be fine. Shut the door."

The president looks at Caprica Six and says, "I'm sorry about the shackles." and she responds by lowering her head. Then the president gets to the point, "Were you with us ...a moment ago? In the lobby of the opera house?" Caprica Six is amazed at the president's words, straightens her posture, and gives her full attention. Then, the president says, "I'll take that as a yes, by the look on your face." The camera pans over to Athena who adds, "I was there too ...and so was Hera.", which causes a frightening look on Caprica Six's face, before she replies, "That shouldn't be possible." Athena shakes her head and says, "Add it to the list." The president demands an answer to the question, "Were you trying to reach Hera?", but Caprica Six shakes her head and says, "I don't know. I just knew that I had to protect her with my life."

Crossroads Part 2 Recap: Scene 8

Still onboard the Battlestar Galactica, Colonel Tigh is in the admiral's office with an urgent report, "I'm telling you, Bill. They put the music in this ship. I can hear it!" Admiral Adama gets to his feet and says, "I believe you. I'll look into it.", but the colonel is not satisfied with that answer and says, "Look into it? You'll look into it? I am here telling you, there is Cylon sabotage aboard our ship!" Admiral Adama stands face to face with the colonel and with a doubtful tone asks, "Sabotage, with music?" and the colonel replies, "I know. I know. I can't quite understand it myself, but there's too much confusion." Admiral Adama tries to reassure him with, "I promise, I'll look into it. Now, I have to get to court." Colonel Tigh knows that the admiral doesn't really believe him when he replies, "Ok ...ok", then turns his head in disappointment, before saying, "Go to court."

As the admiral leaves, Colonel Tigh looks at the ceiling and makes a very strange statement, "There must be some kind of way outta here."

Crossroads Part 2 Recap: Scene 9

Still onboard the Battlestar Galactica, Gaeta is on the witness stand, as Dr. Baltar's trial continues. The prosecutor approaches him and asks, "Do you recognize this document, Lieutenant?", while holding out a piece of paper. Gaeta takes the document and looks it over, before replying, "Yes, I do. It's a death list ...issued on New Caprica by the office of the president." The prosecutor then asks, "Who signed this document?" and Gaeta replies, "President Gaius Baltar." Continuing with her next question, the prosecutor asks, "Hmm ...Could this be a forgery?" and Gaeta replies, "No." The prosecutor then asks, "And how do you know that it CANNOT be a forgery?", to which Gaeta replies, "Because, I was there. I saw him sign it."

Suddenly, Dr. Baltar yells, "What? What are you talking about? You weren't there! That's a total fabrication!" and the crowd starts to make noise, so one of the tribunal judges demands, "Order!", as she pounds her gavel on the table. Then, the prosecutor signals for Gaeta to repeat his testimony and he says, "I saw him sign it." The prosecutor follows up by asking, "Describe the scene, would you?" and Gaeta replies, "The Cylons brought the document into the presidential office. They had already selected the names. One of them, I believe it was a three, gave the list to the President and said, 'Here are the people that are going to be executed. Please, sign this.' He looked at the list, he saw all of the names, and then he signed it." The prosecutor replies with another question, "Did he protest? I mean did he argue? Did he offer any resistance, what so ever?"
