Crossroads Part 2 Recap: Scene 16

Meanwhile, Colonel Tigh, Chief Tyrol, Anders, and Tory listen to the announcement and she says, "Oh gods. What are we going to do?" Colonel Tigh speaks up with authority, "The ship is under attack. We do our jobs! Report to your stations!" Chief Tyrol looks confused and asks, "Where's our stations?" and the colonel replies, "My name is Saul Tigh and I am an officer in the Colonial Fleet. What ever else I am, what ever else it means, that's the man I want to be and if I die today, that's the man I will be." After hearing Colonel Tigh's inspiring words, the four Cylons all leave to report to their stations.

Crossroads Part 2 Recap: Scene 17

Still onboard the Battlestar Galactica, Cally is taking some paper work from one of the pilots, when she sees Chief Tyrol walk in, so she rushes over to him and demands, "Where the hell have you been!?" The chief replies, "I'll tell you later.", then starts shouting orders to the crew, "Get that bird in the tube! Get those steps up! Get those steps up! Come on!" Cally starts yelling off in the distance and then we see Anders standing right behind the chief, as they give each other a worried glance.

Crossroads Part 2 Recap: Scene 18

Still onboard the Battlestar Galactica, Apollo is seen walking down a corridor, as a great number of pilots rush past him. He knows the viper squad needs him, so he decides to get his gear on and go join the fight, even though he is no longer part of the military.

The scene, briefly, switches to the CIC, where Colonel Tigh has just arrived. The admiral greets him with, "It's good to see you colonel." and he replies, "It's good to be here, admiral. You can count on me." The admiral replies, "I've never doubted it.", then the camera pans over to the president, where Tory has just arrived to say, "I'm here if you need me, Madam President." Then, Colonel Tigh and Tory glance at each other, before the scene switches outside to show the Viper Squad launching from the hangar bay.

Crossroads Part 2 Recap: Final Scene

The camera zooms in on Apollo's cockpit, as he goes screaming down the launch tube in his Viper. The scene, briefly, switches to the CIC, as Gaeta reports, "Alert Vipers, are a way!" Helo notices something on the Dredis Console and asks, "Who's in Viper 3?", then the scene switches back outside to show the Viper Squad is in attack formation, speeding toward the oncoming enemy ships.

Once again, the camera zooms in on Apollo's cockpit, as he looks down at the computer screen and notices another Dredis Contact, only this one is far away from the rest of the enemy fleet. Apollo radios to the CIC, "Galactica? Apollo. I'm in Viper 3. I have a bogey at my ten, I'm going to go check it out." Apollo does a barrel roll over some of the other Vipers and then maneuvers into an intercept course, rushing to meet the lone enemy contact. While in pursuit, he looks down at his Dredis Console and is surprised to see the enemy has, suddenly vanished. He says, "Where did he go? Where the Frack did you go?", as he looks out the window in all directions, to try to get a visual.

A pursuit camera switches behind the other vessel, to show it is gaining on Apollo's rear at an alarming rate. As it goes screaming by Apollo's cockpit, he yells, "Woah! What the Frack!" He tries to find out where it went, but once again, it vanishes. It's obvious that the other ship is just toying with him and if he doesn't locate the enemy quickly, he doesn't stand a chance to survive. He frantically looks in every direction and is caught by surprised when the other vessel pulls up along side his. Apollo looks into the other vessel's cockpit and is utterly shocked to learn that this gifted and elusive pilot is none other than STARBUCK! She radios to him, "Hi, Lee." and he can do nothing but stare in disbelief. He finally snaps out of it and says, "Kara!!??" and she giggles with happiness, before saying, "Don't freak out, it really is me." She giggles some more and then says, "It's going to be ok. I've been to Earth. I know where it is and I'm going to take us there."

The camera zooms farther and farther back, as it hovers over the two Vipers, then hovers over the Colonial Fleet, then both fleets, then the Ionian Nebula, past several planets, all the way out to show the entire Galaxy, before zooming back in on the North American Continent of Earth and that's where the Season Finale ends.
