Battlestar Galactica Season 3, Episode "Exodus Part 2", Page 1

Onboard the Battlestar Pegasus, Apollo and Dee discuss the fate his father and the Battlestar Galactica's crew. Apollo knows that they don't stand a chance against the far superior numbers that the Cylon fleet will possess.

As the breakout plan nears the final hours, Colonel Tigh must deal with his wife's collaboration with the Cylons. She only did it to save his life, but her betrayal of humanity is unacceptable for any reason.

When the explosions go off, the distraction demands the Cylon leaders to watch, as the colonists rush to their evacuation points. Colonel Tigh, Chief Tyrol, and Anders lead the battle to take control of the detention center and ship yard, while Roslin leads her group to the Colonial One.

During the chaos, the Battlestar Galactica hyper jumps into the planet's atmosphere and rushes down to hover over the prison camp. As the Galactica casts it's mighty shadow over the colony, Admiral Adama launches the Vipers to give cover-fire for the escaping Colonial ships. Once the Vipers are away, he orders a short precision hyper jump to high orbit, only to be surrounded by four Cylon Baseships. Completely overwhelmed by the superior force, the Battlestar Galactica seems doomed to an heroic end, but suddenly Apollo arrives with the Pegasus to maneuver into a protective position, buying the Galactica's crew time to fix their FTL drive and escape. Unfortunately, the Pegasus is cut off from it's exit and must be sacrificed, so Apollo orders a collision course with one of the baseships and for the crew to abandon ship.

Meanwhile, the Cylons have given up on the planet, so they order D' Anna to detonate a Nuclear Bomb. This makes the huge sacrifice of the Pegasus meaningless if she is successful, because the evacuation is still in progress. Surprisingly, the only one that can stop her, is President Baltar.

The above summary is complete and a full episode recap will soon follow!
