Battlestar Galactica Season 3, Episode "Torn", Page 1

To save his own life, Dr. Baltar must prove his worth to his Cylon Captors, by leading them to the planet Earth. Dr. Baltar has been working on the project for some time, so it is not long before he discovers that a certain nebula may have been a landmark beacon for the Thirteenth Tribe on their way to Earth and the Cylons proceed to investigate.

Back on the Battlestar Galactica, Gaeta has been going over Dr. Baltar's research and discovers the same nebula, which compels President Roslin to order the fleet to investigate, unknowing that yet another confrontation with the enemy awaits.

Meanwhile, Sharon is awarded the nickname, Athena, as her new callsign and the Viper pilots go on practice maneuvers, before Starbuck is grounded for taking too many unnecessary risks.

Colonel Tigh is going through his own problems, because Helo has replaced him as the EXO of the Galactica. Since both Starbuck and Tigh are dealing with similar traumatic nightmares of the occupation, they seem to bond over their shared experience. With their anger at the forefront, they sow discontent among the crew and Admiral Adama takes serious action, to prevent chaos.

Onboard the baseship holding Dr. Baltar captive, Caprica Six reveals that the Cylons have the ability to see visions, similar to the way Dr. Baltar hallucinates Number Six. The similarities are haunting for Dr. Baltar and he starts to believe that he may be one of them.

Meanwhile, a Cylon Baseship arrives at the nebula, only to be infected with a lethal contagious virus, killing everyone onboard. Before that happens, they manage to send a distress signal, but the Cylons decide that they can't risk resurrecting their people, worried that the rest of the fleet could be infected. Dr. Baltar decides that he should be the one to investigate, at the risk of being infected, so that he can convince his captors that he is worth more to them alive, than dead.

The above summary is complete and a full episode recap will soon follow!
